Life At IFL

We have an open door policy for recruitment. You are invited to apply any time and we will try to evaluate your competence and utility for our programmes. If you are found suitable, we try to fit you in one of our laboratories, depending on our requirements. Since we have four laboratories and we continually upgrade our systems, the requirement for personnel is quite dynamic.

We have two main sections – Chemistry and Biology.

In Chemistry, we look for look for MSc’s trained in analytical instruments, preferably with experience in handling instruments like HPLC, LCMSMS, GCMS, AAS, ICP. We also look for BSc’s for sample preparation needs. Additionally, we sometimes need senior analysts with several years’ experience to provide guidance and leadership in the activities of the laboratory.

In Biology, we look for microbiologists, preferably with experience in a food testing environment. We have a small sub-section on Biotechnology, dealing with PCR based diagnostic testing including tests for GMO, pathogens etc.

We welcome applications from qualified people who are keen to learn and develop their career in analytical sciences. We offer testing services as well as teaching/training services and you get a chance to learn new techniques as well as to teach others who wish to learn. We expect an all-round personality development as a result of working with us for 3-4 years.
